Hey I am trying to build my own fps game and want it to be outdoors like in a jungle but when I try to load a terrain that I created in 3D world Studio it doesn’t work. I get the error after it compiles and is loading everything

Unhandled exception at 0x00000000 in test.exe 0x0000005 Access violation.

Is it because the file format is .dbo and not .dbt if so how to I export to that file format?

Any help would be great.

Import to DBPro and save/export as .X

.dbt is not a default format for DBP or GDK. As far as I am aware 3D World Studio should allow you to save your terrain/object as a .x and it might even allow .dbo files.

3DWS does do both .dbo and .x I hardly use the others...

Though I always have an issue exporting the lightmapping in.X from 3DWS so I have to use .dbo and well I only use DBP at the moment but I know you can import into DBP and export as .x

EDIT

dratting i's... edit in bold
