Which the magnifying glass that Ross made or the nautical spyglass?
Ross' spyglass would be used in RP type games. That's why I'm excited about it. Of course, you can have both an FPS and RPG combined. It would be used in finding clues. You can use it as in the video for seeing a piece of paper on a desk but you can't read it unless you magnify it. I wished I had it about four years ago for a game I made.
The nautical might be more difficult to create (I really couldn't say) but I know of a person called "elbow" that could use it or have used it for an educational game he is making that takes place in ancient Roman times when Caesar first came into power. They had this kind of a spyglass and a person is using it in this game to spy or look at up close some of the key players of the game. He used a cut scene to accomplish what he wanted but an in-game way of doing it would be cool as you would be looking at the actual character in-game rather than a "movie" of the cirular representation and a very static picture of the character.
