Hello All

I have just uploaded this model to TGC Store which should be available in a few days.

Its a 'Spyglass' pickup model which you can use to 'zoom' in on objects/clues.
Ideal for any adventure style game.

Cheers.
I don't have 'crysis' so I don't know what they look like.

Now that is sweet.

Good timing, since we have a couple of developments this will fit perfectly. Opens a few doors to some new ideas as well. I will need to show my wife; I'm certain she will want to purchase this.

Thank you Ross.

I hope to see some more of these type object models. Blackfox and I will be competing for being the first to purchase. Doesn't really matter but it sounds like we are both very interested. I have the points and ready to go. :LOL:

@Ross: If you can do it for a nautical spyglass (see pic), then I'll PRE-ORDER!

Excuse my grammar errors, I'm French.

Which the magnifying glass that Ross made or the nautical spyglass?

Ross' spyglass would be used in RP type games. That's why I'm excited about it. Of course, you can have both an FPS and RPG combined. It would be used in finding clues. You can use it as in the video for seeing a piece of paper on a desk but you can't read it unless you magnify it. I wished I had it about four years ago for a game I made.

The nautical might be more difficult to create (I really couldn't say) but I know of a person called "elbow" that could use it or have used it for an educational game he is making that takes place in ancient Roman times when Caesar first came into power. They had this kind of a spyglass and a person is using it in this game to spy or look at up close some of the key players of the game. He used a cut scene to accomplish what he wanted but an in-game way of doing it would be cool as you would be looking at the actual character in-game rather than a "movie" of the cirular representation and a very static picture of the character.

Still waiting for TGC to add this to the store.

I'm glad I'm not holding my breath.

This is also a bump for this because it's so cool.

@SuPeR_DuDe911

Are you sure you're not mistaking the spyglass (nautical) that The Storyteller 01 was suggesting? The one Ross made is also known as a magnifying glass.

See image below:

@elbow

That's why I bumped it up. I was sure not everyone who would be interested in this has seen it yet.

Thanks. Just 100 points? You're too good. I just purchased but I bet Blackfox got there before I did.

BTW, they said it was up 10 days ago. That must have been when they received it but didn't get it uploaded. So, not your fault Ross.
