I'm going to try it out as soon as I get home!

EDIT: Works great on my Android phone!

But have some weird framerate bugg if the player is in landscape mode when you start your landscape app.
You have to change its portrait mode by tapping the button in the right upper corner, to force it to portrait and then start your landscape app to get right framerate.
Really weird.

On my Asus Transformer, I get a "Failed to write calibration data" error and it will not receive broadcast code.

The latest player does not use the calibration data any more, so you should not be getting this error. I think we still have to update the player on the store though.

The one in the store uses calibration. It's great that you finally have a version without.

Unsurprisingly, it looks as though it still has not been updated in the store. You can however download an apk that seems to work. It is called "Android AppGameKit Player (beta)" from your "My Products" area, it was update on 5/28. Download to your device and install. I think you have to uninstall your previous store-downloaded version first.

I have tried it and it seems a lot better than previously So looking good! The store one will follow soon enough, when the beta is shown to be stable I suppose

How is it with text input on the beta player? Does the keyboard work in landscape? And can you use edit boxes?

As long as the posted one is v1075, it should. I tested those functions and the ad click area in v1075 in landscape on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. They all worked.

Now, if your Android device reports itself as a tablet but has it's accelerometer behave like a phone (like mine does), you might need the next update. The issue is discussed (and fixed) in this thread: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=197143&b=41

Fine with text input as far as the virtual keyboard is concerned, but I cannot see the actual text entry box any more. I haven't looked into it yet as I have been busy finishing a game the last few days. I think you can actually position it now, so I can probably move it back up into view.
That's on android anyway.
