Hello! As many of you know I currently have an electronics project going currently and if it ever gets far enough, I would like to sell it. I know that to sell electronics, the device must be either certified or verified by the FCC. I was looking up and researching the price of getting certifications recently but all of those articles pointed to and referred to something that actually purposefully emits electromagnetic radiation, such as radio transmitters. The cost for those certifications was in the general ballpark of 6K to 10K. However, that was with devices that emit electromagnetic radiation intentionally. My project will not have any sort of transmitters. So if anyone knows an answer to this that would be great!! Thank you.

The test is part of the certified or verified version as I know for things as such,My advice? dont get involved in a fake company claiming to test it for you then they rip you off in the end. Make sure its a ligit company that can show proof with papers that it does not emit electromagnetic radiation intentionally,I am shure even if you have papers with proof, you will still have to pay in the end,But if your device is worth anything, you will make it up in your sells of your device.

my signature keeps being erased by a mod So this is my new signature.
