I've noticed that there are some entities that show up when the player is close to them. Is there a way to make them always visible?

Check the items 'FPE' file for the 'spawn' section below and change the values to '0' (mainly 'spawndelay = 0')

;spawn
spawnmax = 0
spawndelay = 0
spawnqty = 0

Awesome thanks! I'll check into that; I figured it be something more internal with the entity.

Don't forget to 'delete' any previous '.BIN or .DBO' files before testing anything which you have made changes to.

Odd... all the values are already at zero.

So I'm not sure what's causing this. They all are using the appear1.fpi script.

what version of fpsc are u using, if it is 1.19 put this script in a trigger zone's main script and it turns culling off.

hi kingofmk98

Thank you for the script - I use invisible walls in one of my scenes and then the culling kicks in when the engine thinks I can't "see" the entities. Now I can fix that.

I don't advise turning off culling completely as this could have an adverse affect on performance. I you want to alter the cull disatance for entities you are much better using the CULLRANGE=x action in the appear script, this allows for tailoring of the culling while still keeping it active.

cullrange thats even better.

But do i put that in the script of the entities or just one entity to control them all?

It's per entity, but you should only need alter those that are causing issues. The link below is to a thread with a scrpt pack which should start you off.
