i am working at 3d card game. at the disposal of the players are multi-colored textured cards - 3d models, and I want to do some of the inactive cards black & white (gray). I do not want to recreate the textures of all 60 playing cards in black&whitу version. help me please, maybe there is some black&white effects (.fx) or an other variants. (sorry my english)

and second question: how to disable object effect or switch off effect on current object. if i use set object effect 1,1 on many objects, how can i off it on one object, not in all scene? help me pls

I don't know that you can switch effects on and off like that. You might have to delete the object and reload it without the effect.

So many games to code.......so little time.

If you have photoshop you can batch edit all of the cards to B/W in one go. Just click Action/Record (Give it a name B/W), and record yourself changing one card to Image/Adjust/Desaturate. Click Stop Recording. Now go to File/Automate/Batch. Choose the name B/W. Choose the folder with the cards in, then choose a different folder to save to. All done.

No problem. You will find other effects achievable by using different blend modes. Obviously blend mode 24 achieves the black & white effect.
