My game is really lit up! How do i make it dark?

That is definitely one way to do it. Especially when testing the level. However, if you want it to be darker from the get-go for the player in a stand-alone built game, then you need to do it another way which is to change setup data.

You also probably have bloom on. Which you can turn off by going to the setup.ini file and changing postprocessing=1 to =0

I don't know if that would work, but if it does, it seems like a huge waste of resources. It'd also probably have unfavourable effects on objects with shaders.
