Well that bites. they really need to go instant approval,4 days now Ive been waiting yea ill give them the first 2 days cause of the holiday you guys had over there in the UK.

Never had to wait so long for something i brought online, digital is suppose to be pretty much instant,if i wanted to wait close to a week i would of got the physical version if it was available.

Well have a good night UK,Sweet dreams

I have to agree that TGC's way of processing orders is prehistoric. They would probably make more sales if people where not afraid of not receiving their orders because a sole person has to make sure the money has gone into the TGC bank account xD

Yeah to be honest this is TGC's main failing at the moment - their new website looks fantastic but the purchasing process is nowhere near as up to date as the website it features on.

I don't think they've got the staff to manually approve everything and of course the staff that do get days off. It's a fairly slow system when it's the weekend, a bank holiday or in this case, the queen's blooming jubilee.

It sounds like something has gone wrong somewhere. I've not heard of anybody waiting this long for an approval. I would definitely contact support.

I have never understood how a company that tries to produce cutting edge development software can still be in the stone age when it comes to payment processing.

There are two kinds of computer users. Those that use Macs and those that wish they did.

Its now been 7 days since I ordered Realm Crafter and 3D GameMaker.

I very much understand they had a holiday but this is crazy, they never took this long before,I mean when I brought DB Pro and Classic in 2003 and 2008 they never took this long

I have emailed support in the past,so far no luck

I'm sorry for being a pest but $133 bucks is a lot of money,i mean i'm sitting here with nothing.

This is indeed a very strange case. Maybe the order form didn't submit properly? Were you having any internet issues the day of purchase?

Perhaps try calling/emailing on Monday, they should be available then, or at least the last time I ordered something it was approved on a Monday. It is a bit odd because normally it doesn't take that long.

A client contacted me on the Tuesday ROFL

this is odd, the longest I waited was like 3 days and then I managed to catch Lee on-line and being the awesome guy that he is he approved it pretty much immediately and I am pretty sure it was a Saturday

I've sent an email, but there really must be a glitch in the system somewhere. I know ordering over the weekend is pain as you have to wait until Monday but this is too long for it not to be an error.

Probably due to the 2 bank holidays plus the half term where all the schools close and most people go on holiday. You'll probably get it today as its back to normal.

Kudos to you for being polite about the situation however, in the past people have massively overreacted to late approvals. Hope it all gets sorted soon

Yea no point in flipping out on late approvals, all that does is make people mad at ya and possibly make the late approval even later out of spite lol.

Hey guys i don't mean to go off topic but Ive been wanting to ask yas something.

What do ya guys think of the "Dark Game Studio Bonanza" package,I'm very tempted to get it,just wonder how much longer the sale will last. I might get it next month.

Only thing that might keep me from getting it is i already have DB Pro and DB Classic.

I think it's a good deal when you consider how much money you're saving. I bought it despite already having DBP, but you save enough on everything else to make up for it. If you think you'll use the stuff that comes with it, then I think it's worth it.

Dark Physics is no longer supported and is a big buggy and out dated, Dark Dynamix is your alternative for that. I personally don't use Dark Physics any more.

Our Reply: Hi James,

The following is a reply to your enquiry:

> Hi i would like to know when i can have my software?

Your first e-mail has been assigned to the dispatch department. Please wait for them to check on your order, you have not been forgotten, you're just in a message cue.

-----------------------------------

Now my question is will i be able to have my software today or are they closed by now? I so hope today, its been 8 days now lol

You should ask for some free software, being they have held your money for 8 days gaining interest on it and all you have to show for spending are empty pockets.

I gave away my old copy of dbp after I bought the pack. That said, I'd probably invest in AppGameKit now rather than DBP. It along with the plugins are just too dated to be particularly useful. Most other competing software has surpassed it considerably. That said, I've found AppGameKit is very good and exceeds most other software packages in that realm.

4pm here (at the time of posting). Usual office closing hours here in the UK are between 4 & 5 pm, dunno what it is for TGC.

Just out of curiosity. When you ordered, did you receive any confirmation emails ? Have you called the bank to see if the charge exists ? Sounds like the order just never it through in the first place. ahh... just chewing the fat...

It probably didn't help that you provided your old email address as they probably approved your order on that, and because of the jubilee in the UK and Bank Holidays there is more than likely a back log of emails. The message you had saying that you've not been forgotten is probably auto-generated after you send them an email or ticket. I'm sure they'll get up to date with things and get back to you as soon as they can.
