I've been writing a small web application for distributing ios apps. I've decided to rewrite it and redesign using codeigniter and twitter bootstrap (Thanks a lot Jeku!) and I wanted your opinion on the design. Granted the majority of the work is done by bootstrap, I just want to know if the feel is good and it doesn't look too twitter-ish.

Obviously, all comments are welcome.

It's nice; simple and clean. But a little too empty. I'd take that fluid pixel logo and stick a smaller version of it on that top nav bar.

I'm hoping to fill out the nav bar with more navigation links once I have the php stuff fleshed out, so that will hopefully make it less empty.

I'll take some screenshots with the logo integrated into the navbar and I'll see what you think.

EDIT:

It didn't look too great with the full logo integrated, so I minimized it to this, what do you think?

Opera
That seems like a lot of text on the homepage but I don't know what you're planning to put there.
I like your logo design but something about it seems slightly "off", I feel like it needs tweaking.

[edit] I had a go at tweaking your logo. Not expecting you to use this, I'm no graphic designer.
I made it more uniform using three squares of decreasing size. The distance between the breaks on the sides,
in relation to the total length, is roughly 3/7, 1/3 and 1/4.
This was straight-edged and I smoothed the corners by hand so it's not a great version. I'm still happy with it though.
Surprisingly difficult to get something so simple to look right.

Any critique? I am still a beginner with graphics programs.

The text on the homepage is just filler text, it will consist of news updates and things like that. I like your logo, but it's really not my place to change it, I'm doing work experience at Fluid Pixel, I'm not actually employed by them.

I like OBese's logo too, I tried out what it would look like with the same font over it and it looks great, but like I've said it's not my place to change it.

Thanks Jerico, yeah I did. Any critique from what you can see about the design?

I prefer the original to OBese's. The FP stands out better, and I like the font apart from the e with no tail.

Who designed this?
http://fpstudios.com/

As I think you should follow from the same style set in place there.
As Phaelax said, your design feels a little empty. Stuff needs breaking up vertically rather than just horizontally. It will make the design feel busier.

That runs wordpress, I'm not sure who designed it though.

What do you mean by breaking things up vertically? Like by having different columns instead of only rows?

Yes I guess I should probably stick with the design. I've kept the functionality and the html quite separate so I would be able to redo the design quite easily if they dislike mine.
