Hello,

So hopefully later this year I will have enough money to build a new rig that I will use for mainly gaming, and a bit of video editing.
And since you guys are so amazing at computers, could anyone tell me if the parts in this build (link below) will be compatible with each other and if it's suitable for gaming etc etc, I have checked all the parts to see if they will be compatible and according to my observations they should. I am trying to stay in the ballpark of around £900 and I'm currently at around £876.
(I haven't added Win 7 to the wishlist yet, obviously that's gonna cost me over £900 total but right now I'm worried about the parts.)

Thanks!

The case, for the most part, is personal opinion. Your ram, however, keep in mind the board will need to overclock to use the 2133 speed. But I don't think you'd have an issue underclocking it to only 1600.
Graphics, again personal taste and needs I think. I've only used Radeon cards once, and that was 10 years ago. PSU is fine. HDD fine, though I'd probably opt for a high capacity drive, most likely a WD black for myself. Monitor, personal preference I think. The asus looks fine, though I prefer a 16:10 ratio myself.

SSD looks good. Do your research on it with Windows to make sure you get it set up for optimal performance.

Why only a DVD reader? You never ever plan on using a burner? I'd get something with write ability, they don't cost much at all.

I didn't notice that, I'll look into it.

Higher capacity drives are more expensive but I'll look into that again.

Tbh, I have no need for burning discs as I don't distribute things via discs. Although I might look into it.

Thanks!
