i downloaded darkbasic pro trial but it wont let me play it, it says i need directx 9.0c oct 2006 or later. i looked it up on google and downloaded but it keeps saying the same thing what do i do?

I think he means that it won't let him execute his code Because without actually using DBP to run some code you won't get the DirectX messages, if I'm not mistaken

And in any case the solution TheComet mentioned should fix that.
For any other DBP related problems the DBP Newcomers board seems to be the better place by the way, right? ^^
