I have written a small program that will not run in Windows 7, but it will run in windows vista. I can take the same program (built in windows 7), and it will run on the vista machine. It looks like the kernel32.dll file is different in windows 7, and that's why there is an issue. I'm using dbpro/purebasic/puregdk along with MS Visual C++ Express. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks in advance.

The files may be different, but the API they present will be the same and act in the same way. TBH, it's more likely that the problem you are having exists in your own code.
