Hey everyone, I think my ongoing project is finally coming to an end (if anyone still cares ), I'm sorry it's been so slow-going. I'm going to try to finish off everything tomorrow, if not tomorrow, within a few days to a week, as I'll probably run into some problems animating/rigging the weapons.

All that's left is texturing some entities, a few animations, and getting everything FPSC ready. I don't think the characters are going to make it in, not FPSC ready anyway. I'll include the models for them, and anyone who really wants to can rig them for FPSC.

Can I use some of the models in unity when released? Credit will go to you of course.

Of course! I'd love to see these get use somewhere other than just FPSC, especially because there doesn't seem to be much life left in these boards. I guess everyone's gone to the FPSCR forum, which unfortunately I don't own.

I'm going to include all the non-.x format models for the guns, so they can be easily used in other engines.

Great! Im working on a small WW2 multiplayer FPS in Unity 4, and a lot of these weapons can be used. Cant wait to goet my hand son the pack. And I own FPSCR but my computer isnt really strong enough for it. FPSCR still needs some pretty heavy optimization, but all in all, its a great product.

There isnt to much to show at the moment, but I will show it off once I have enough done. The project is only a couple months old.
Cant wait to see your pack done. It will be worth the wait.

Hey Vent, good to see you still making models!

Great models so far, what I do notice however is that some textures seem to be lacking a little ( wood and base metal in particular). Now I'm no expert, but I thought I'd give you a hand with the texturing.

I made these two base textures fairly quickly. Wood and Base metal with a bit of detail on each. Both are seamless 1024x1024px.

Metal base (Click to view full size)

Hopefully you find some use of them in your texture editing.

Thanks for your input, and the textures. I'll admit some of the textures are a little rough :l

Bumping out of interest. Any updates on the pack Vent? The first post shows that it's nearing completion. Any
ideas on a release date? This pack is too awesome and unique to die out

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been so silent and haven't shown much progress

No real updates, I've got some entities to put in FPSC. The weapons are pretty much done, they're not FPSC ready though, and this is where I've run into issues that are slowing me down.

It's been a long time since I was really into FPSC, I've been messing around with some other projects over the last year and unfortunately my dedication to FPSC has taken a hit. I guess with the Reloaded coming around I kinda fell off. Which brings me to my next point, which is that a lot of the community has kind of moved on to Reloaded it seems. I still very much appreciate everyone's comments here, but I'm afraid that when I do release this pack it will be with a whimper (which is totally my fault for taking so long ). I guess that's why every time I try to make a push a stop for a while. I'd love to see this in FPSC Reloaded, but I can't really justify buying right now (are there any plans for a free version like FPSC? As in you can't build a game, but you can test and mess around?).

Any way, enough with the sappy stuff. I'll try to finish it up. It's kinda rough (animations for example), and I'm kind of considering releasing it not completely polished... Just to get it out there and done.

Thank you for your ongoing support, I will try my best to finish up

YES!!!!! Way to go VENT! I cannot WAIT to make a kick-butt 'Nam game!

Rockstar, thats what you are. Any chance you can release the entities now and the weapons when they're done? A progressive release would allow us to start enjoying them and add in weapons when those are ready.

Sorry if I seem pushy, but this is awesome news and I can barely contain my excitement!!

Hey Vent. You have a lot of nice weapons up there. Hope that you release the pack soon. I am exited about rigging them to some nice ww2 or vietnam war hands so that they can be used in games for the perfect look.
