Hey, I have started working on my first game, "The Village"

Story:

It is the year 2012, your name is Brandon, you and your family have been living in a small village, until one day, you wake up and find out that everybody is GONE! Start your journey, and find out what made them disapear, fight, solve puzzles, go through a maze! It is all up to you to save humanity!

Ok, so this game is not out yet, but will be soon, my Multiplayer Demo is ready, I just need to finish off a few tweeks, it will include 2 multiplayer maps, in the full version, there will be almost AT LEAST 10, then you can download map packs to expand them , the Campaign is still not ready, when it is, I will upload the demo, then later on, I will put a link to the full game when it is done

Here is a little screen shot of the village, but this is my first game so plz go easy on me

ok sry but you map is very empty! it doesnt look like a game which is soon finish!
- player should not look outside of the map
- story is very usual
- you can see where the segemnts are different

ok, I updated it a bit, I added a wall around the village, also THE GAME IS NOT DONE! this is just the begining of the game, NOT the game itself, lol, I am planning to make it VERY big, if possible, maybe around 20 levels,

other things:
scripts+a little bit ai(just plr against enemy)
segments
entities(look at my threat)

-with grass it looks a lot better!
-lightning is very important!! play a little bit with it
-use some shaders too but not so much important

I'm going be blunt. Those re-textures look... bad, and you should learn how to model.

It looks very strange, but, not too bad.

However, i can see that you aren't following the UV maps created by the original artist which is why your re-textures look skewed and stretched.

I don't play COD. What does this barrier look like? Have you got a reference image? I have 'Googled' it and have come to the conclusion is is just a few planks across a window?

Is there anything special about the barrier? does it need to regenerate? is it hard to break etc...

look, it is a window with about 6 wooden planks on it, Zombies need to hit it about maybe 6 times to break it, every 1 hit, 1 plank disapears, and you can come next to it and repair the barrier so that the 6 planks regenerate, and it happenes all over again

i think you dont understand cornos meaning. take a stock-plank (ww2/scifi) and position it in any breakthrough, making the planks immobile. then write a script with "anywithin" and activatetarget to destroy the planks one after another with timer, using a timed respawn to close the breakthrough again (i dont think the rebuild of the planks through the player will work in fpsc).

only 4 planks as far as i can see, but absolutely everything in what you need for a survive-incoming-enemy-waves... whatever.

I have just seen what you require and the guys above are correct, it is more a scripting issue.

Look at Maho76's post above. If you follow that word for word, you can't go wrong. If you want me to model you a few planks, i can do. (pretty sure its within my modelling capabilities)
