I've recently done a clean install on my laptop with Windows XP on one half of my HD and then put Linux on the other half, a dual boot. As usual I put Zonealarm onto Windows and now I don't even need an anti-virus because it comes with it.
The problem I am having is when I am in Windows I cannot log into my facebook account, it keeps taking me to facebook.com/checkpoint and telling me that I possibly have virus's. And I can log in fine using the Linux installation and use it great. I've used Zonealarm to run a full scan and I don't want to download the offer of McAffee from the checkpoint page.
When I log into facebook using Linux and check all my account settings I find that I'm loggin in from two completely different locations when using Windows and Linux, but they are actually me logging in.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way around it?
If not, is there an alternative to using Zonealarm for a firewall and anti-virus?
