i am using Xcode 3 and the ios template that came with 1076

when i compile to device in RELEASE mode I get this error:

GDB: Program received signal: SIGABRT
Error from Debugger: Previous Frame inner to this frame (gdb could not unwind past this frame)

All worked fine in 1074 using the 1074 ios template

I am using T2 not the interpreter

i used the 1074 xcode project templates and i got the same error

i put the 1074 .a libfile in place and all compiled fine.

so the problem is related to xcode3 and the libfile

please let me know if you plan on fixing this anytime soon as i need this urgently.

Your problem is probably this bug.

I don't think so because bjadams knows about that bug and also, that bug occurs at runtime, not upon compilation.

All I can suggest is moving to Xcode 4 but I guess you would have already done so if you wanted to.

i am trying to resist as much as possible to move to xcode4, because i am still on snow leopard.

i use other sdks and am in the middle of a few projects and i don't want to disrupt my system by reinstalling a new os!

not to mention backing up and moving all the xcode dev keys!

I will try the InitGL fix tomorrow and report back

With great relief I announce that the problem was that damn InitGL !!!!

1076 works perfectly once this is fixed!

Also swapping between 1076 and 1074 is just a matter of renaming the libagk.a

Thanks a lot for all the help and assistance!

Well, I stand corrected. Neslib 1 Hodgey 0, yes I keep tabs (ask baxslash).

To be honest, I would have thought you would have tried that earlier bjadams. Very disappointed in you.
