Dark GDK / [GDK2.0] Camera effect not working

This errors out completely:

This give me the picture but no bloom effect at all:

These are the only two methods I know of and neither work.
If I do this I get a black screen:


Any ideas on how to do bloom in 2.0?

Have you been following the camera ID issue?

Someone mentioned that camera ID's need to be sequential which will not happen if you allow GDK2 to assign camera ID's.

It might not be that but thought I would mention just in case.
