So as I am part of a rifle team in my Marine Corps JROTC, I got to go to the wonderful and prestigious CMP South in Anniston, Alabama. Let me tell you, the facilities are top notch.

OLYMPIC HOPEFULS TRAIN HERE.

It has computerized shooting systems to track your pellet down to 1/100 of a millimeter. So you KNOW what you shot.

The camp is happening over the month of July. We happened to sign up for this week. CMP South is one of the best places to learn junior rifle in my opinion. The coaches are great. And there's 80 lanes to shoot at. Plus, all you can use Vogul pellets

I saw the words "beautiful Anniston" and expected to see sexy pictures of Jennifer Anniston in Alabama. Needless to say, the thread was mildly disappointing. Lol.

As it turns out there's only one N in Jennifer Aniston anyways too so wrong word haha.

Civilian Marksmanship Program. Set up by the great Theodore Roosevelt himself. It's a nice place where you go to train for the Olympics, and if you are good enough, you go to CMP North in Ohio.

Well, air rifle is a very DISCIPLINED sport. Takes a lot of technique, mentality and patience compared to high powered rifle. I love what it's made me. I can shoot 10.2's on average in standing now thanks to this camp.

Lol I love high powered rifles. I really love air rifles too. But I'm the best with a good shotgun. I especially enjoy sport clay shooting.

Oh yes, clay shooting is a VERY fun sport. I use a wood stock 870 with a improved cylinder choke and 20 gauge shells. Thats my BABY
