Is there a plan to make this book available on Amazon because there is no way I'm going to pay over fifty dollars just for shipping to the US?

I wish they would find a publisher over here to handle this. It's silly that the shipping is so expensive. Maybe someone like Lulu who could do it for them.

I hope so I like TGC products and AppGameKit looks really nice but I just can't justify shipping that costs that much.

Yeah definitely needs a better option for U.S. customers.
Not to mention, there's a high probability big parts of the book could become obsolete with updates to AppGameKit in the near (we hope) future.

I bought the book but never saw a shipping cost listed separately anywhere. It was ~75 US dollars total. Are you taking into account the exchange rate?

Got kid? Hula Hamsters is for ages 3 and up!

Price is 46.95GBP inclusive of air-mail shipping, about 74$ at the current currency conversion.
I did that for DarkBasicPro Books, price from TGC is higher, maybe there is a markup, or they use Royal Air Mail, in the sense that there are Prince William and Harry themselves that pilot the plane

I'm afraid not, or at least not at the moment. In this thread it is mentioned that the author has had some bad experiences with piracy. I believe the 'Hands on Darkbasic'-books were distributed as normal PDF's without DRM.

I would welcome a digital version of the book as well, since:
- I can keep it on the screen, next to the IDE
- Shipping costs can be eliminated
- Updates or corrections can easily be distributed
- The book can use color (current print version is black and white)
