Picked up a new toy yesterday. My old bike has gone and been replaced with this for pretty much the same value. It's a 2001 GSX-R 750. 140bhp, 170mph, 0-60 faster than I can possibly ever dare to try. Really chuffed with it, so thought I'd share.

Let's just say, big smiles inbetween bouts of absolute terror.

Nice bike. I've only owned smaller bikes up to 250cc. Still quite fast though... very light.

Cheers Pincho. Yeah, first bike was a 125. Good fun. Moved onto a 650 sport, and this is a 750 super sport. I'm off to Wales next weekend. Fingers crossed for good riding weather.

I'm leaving right now for the Yorkshire Dales (Hardraw just outside Hawes), you ever been there?

There are always tons of bikers in Hawes, though I'm not a biker myself.

Folk festival in the Green Dragon if anyone fancies it

LOL, I saw the title and knew it was a motorcycle. I love my dirt bike!

I was expecting toys... But the bike's nice anyways! (even though I understand nothing about them at all, and tbh, don't plan to get to know them).

Looks fun!

I hope the crotch-rocket crowd in the UK doesn't ride around like the same crowd does here in the US. Never have issues with Harleys, cruisers, trikes, &&c...just crotch-rocket yobs.

@Matty, may have ridden through there on our tour, but didn't stop. Hope you have fun mate.

@DeadTomGC, bike are the ultimate. Love em to bits.

@Nateholio, everyone's an individual. Not all super sports riders are hooligan yobs, but there are plenty of them. We all look the same with our gear on, but today three bikers pulled up on sports bikes, took off their helmets, and they were all about 60. Some are nutters. Don't tarnish us all with the same brush.
