Hi, I am testing particle demos in asus tf101 (android 4.0, nvidia tegra 2) and samsung galaxy mini. In Cloud demo, my ASUS get 6 fps!!! but my samsung galaxy mini get 60 fps.

It's strage. If you have ASUS TF101 Can you test this demo (GasCloud)? how much fps do you get?

Thanks

Some thoughts i have is that you could try to disble hardware acceleration on the device and see if it helps.

I belive agk have problems with that?

From android 3.0 and higher so is this default on these devices but uses alot more memory.

If you find that this helps so can you disable this in the manifest file when you compile to an apk file.

Android 2.3 Gingerbread , ZTE Skate , 480x800 , 4.3 inches , 800 mhz cpu , 512 mb ram
Android 4.0 Sandwich , Dmtech 3g 9738B , 1024x768 , 9.7 inches , cortex A8 1.2 cpu , 1 gb ram.

Hi, thanks for your answer. The option "Use hardware acceleration for 2d applications" is disabled (I have never enabled it).

On the other hand, I use the AppGameKit player (No APK). So, I cannot change the manifest. Do you think that this can be a problem?

Thanks

I dont know as agk have problems on the devices that have this enabled.

So its an thought?

You could build your own player.

Follow daniel tgc great tutorial.

You know that the player in the app store is very outdated!

If you check my mode 7 thread in the showcase section so have i released my own player on the latest agk build 1076.

you could test that one?

Android 2.3 Gingerbread , ZTE Skate , 480x800 , 800 mhz cpu , samsung galaxy y , 240x320 , 832 mhz cpu
Android 4.0 Sandwich , Dmtech 3g 9738B , 1024x768 , 9.7 inches , cortex A8 1.2 cpu , 1 gb ram.
