As the title says. My future project are mainly horror. I'm planning to get it in a couple of months. Which one do you guys suggest?

The XL1 is pretty much old news now... go for the XL2 as it at least has 4 channel sound built in compared to stereo on the XLS, the XL2 looks cooler too and well why not go for a Panasonic instead as they are better and more feature rich...

Only benefit of a Canon is if you already have a Canon DSLR which would allow you the option to use your DSLR lenses as far as I know...

But the Panasonics perform much better than the Canons and frankly most professionals I know use Panasoonics kits... and I always place it higher on my purchase list when looking at broadcast cameras or production cameras...

ok. took me awhile. but i've decided to eventually get the Panasonic GH2.

I checked for some DSLRs recently and it seems Nikon and Canon are just being silly... I plan to get a Panasonic as well next as well as a broadcast camera from Panasonic too I may be getting back into wedding photography soon...
