i've played this several times and have had no problems.

i got to say that this game is "AWESOME SCARY" gives me the creeps like a silent hill game.

the music makes this game. 2 thumbs up for the sound guy.

it is defantly worth working on this more.

you should look into model pack 54
http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2288

and a great free pack. Ghost hunter pack.

just a couple of sugguestions:

1) Health bar:... i feel naked with out one.
2) hands holding a flash light.
3) a top down map (if possible)

GREAT WORK GUYS. KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. thanks for the link DarkJames.

The game is excellent you guys! Very scary, kept me on my toes. The atmosphere is very well made. Still trying to get all 8 pages

Pewdie's first video for it was pretty hilarious as well, congrats on that!!

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

Absolutely fantastic game, one of the best FPSC games I've played in a long time. Level design and visuals were very good, and it was most certainly scary! Definitely lives up to the original game.

I've just got to say as well, this is literally the only FPSC project release that I've ever played over and over again. I sincerely hope you continue to release more maps for it, dying to play more. The Slenderman game concept is a very addicting one

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

Well I played this last night and I reckon it might be as scary as the original. Lets just say I ended up nearly falling off my chair backwards and my headphones slammed on the floor, not good .

I was gonna post my reaction video here but then I saw the donating thing so I will get on to that.
Thanks for making it so great Bugsy and Mark

I have been playing this game for several weeks now and I want to know how I can create a flashlight for the player, page entities and a page counter, and also how I can write on the pages before setting them on the map. This is for a game I am trying to create, not having to do with the slender man. If anyone can give me details, thank you very much, and much more if you can give me more information about the music loops.

Designing games for my future company. I may need some advice.

GREAT GAME very scary...but any tips on how to avoid slenderman "holding" you?! I already got 7 pages just one more, but suddenly, my player turned around by himself and mr. slendy was there! I can't move, I can move the camera though....how do I avoid this?!

The only real tip I can give you is when you reach page 6 never look back and start running every once in a while. I once managed to reach seven pages, but when I found the eighth, the bastard was guarding it! I ragequit right after that. That's the only useful tip I can give you.

Hi, I think I've found a fairly easy way to get all eight pages in Sanatorium and not get caught by slender. I beat it about 4-5 times in a row w/o losing.
By the way, great job on the game!
I was completely scared like hell and even though I beat it a half a million times, I'm still scared and I still play it

From the indiemag:
Quote: " I'd also like to see other characters pop up in some maps, as The Slender Man photos suggest he spooks crowds, too"
Wouldn't that be the perfect pilot for Bugsy's crowd system?

Oh my god!!! I've been playing the maps in Slenderman's Shadow for several months now, and only whilst surfing these forums realized it was made in FPSC
I just assumed it was Unity or something!

Just downloaded and attempted to play.

First off, I love the media that's been used. There isn't much of it, but what there is looks pretty cool. But the game could use more media. I mean, even for an abandoned building there isn't enough debris just lying around.

Second, I hate not being able to move. No matter which CTRL or SHIFT key I pressed in, I felt like I was crawling really slowly. Bothers me when it takes 20 seconds to cross one room.

Finally, I really dislike not having a weapon to defend myself with. I can't even punch the guy? Or even run away? He just shows up randomly and you die?

All in all, not my thing. I tried, and even collected 1 of the pages. Not that I could repeat that, as there was no rhyme or reason to the layout of the building, so I doubt I could ever find that page again.

Thanks for the demo, though. I know it takes a lot of time to put even a minor test level together, so the time and effort you put into this is appreciated. Game just isn't my slice of bread.

Um... Mr Kennedy, do you know what slender man is all about?

You're not supposed to have a weapon, you supposed to move slowly and Slender man is supposed to popup randomly.

Um... Mr Landman, do you know what feedback is all about?

I'm merely giving my honest opinion about THIS game. Although there are several parallels between this game and the Slenderman game(s), my opinion is regarding this game and not Slenderman as a whole. I hate not being able to move, I hate not having a weapon, and I hate not being able to defend myself. That's my honest assessment of the game. If you don't like my assessment, don't pay attention to it.

Oh I see. My apologies Leon, I misunderstood you.

I do agree with you on certain aspects. Like moving so slowly! The player should at least be able to you to run.

I agree, it is better than the original. The whole fact that you are inside a building makes you feel that he could be just around the corner, rather than him teleporting 100 meters away.
