I'm looking for an experienced 3D modeler who is available to do some custom work. I will require a high quality character with texture (no animations though). I have reference images available.

Search the internet for gaming models

Look at whats been done and ask the artist of the model if you can use it in your game. They will ask you what format you want it in, so you can rig and animate it. You would be surprised at the number of them that say no problem.
