So , I downloaded Bond1's shaders and I tried to use them on segments and entities . However , they're not effected by lights . I'm sure I did everything correctly : static entities , making texture maps , etc. and failed . to make sure it isn't me I used Bond1's segment with the shader which is fully prepared to work . However it has the same problem , I'm using Full Light Mapping , Full Shader Effects .
Help needed

Bond1's segment shader isn't supposed to be applied to entities, which shader did you use?

I used segments for segments and entities for entities . I used Static entities shader for entities :

Again , I used the entity Bond1 gave with thew shader which is fully prepared to work , but it had the same problem . I think the shaders are working as I could see some effects in segments , but It's not effected by lights at all . I tried adding dynamic and static lights . dynamic don't effect them while static doesn't even work .

Make sure you have the following maps;

Texture_D
Texture_D2 [_D and _D2 are the same]
Texture_I
Texture_N

I have them all , I used a model that has a _D , _N and copied _N and renamed it to _I just as bond1 said . as for the segment it has all those maps as it's bond1 shader ready , too .
EDIT : Something's odd . I cannot find dynamic lighting in my preferences tab . I don't know if it was erased with the last update , but I don't think it was .

EDIT2 : Disabled dynamic lighting through setup.ini and added a static light , FAILURE !

Sometimes you can open a copy of the shader and where it list what textures it needs change them to the textures you are trying to use on that object.

If Dynamic objects just retest.
If Static objects Move a light source to force a lightmap rebuild. segments the same.

This might help for textures.

Also the ps3 static entity shader uses Alpha in the _i and the _n texture maps for specular shine. save these 2 files as dxt5 compression.

the ps3 segment one gets specular shine from _i texture. this file should be gray scale.

Tried making it grayscale . No luck

You want to zip up the model and textures and attach them in download. I will look at them and see wht I can find out.

Or you can email them if there for private use in your game.

They're not for private use , they are bond1's containment pillar which is ready to use shaders on , and generator stock model which I don't know if I can upload . I attached bond1's model but really I didn't edit it at all . I just placed everything in place and it didn't work . BTW I noticed something weird . those models\segments are not effected by dynamic lights , they are only affected by static ones . I have dynamic lighting enabled BTW .

EDIT 2 : Problem solved folks . It turns out it only responds to static lightmapping . I even managed to get teleporter base entity and tech 63 segment from Cosmic Prophet sci-fi pack 2 shader-compitable , Thanks all .

EDIT : somehow it got working with static lights . Is it designed to work only with static lights ? I don't think it's ( I don't hope )
