Hey all, I'm relatively new here, and I'm a sound designer/scriptwriter, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any guidelines I need to follow with FPSC sound, besides the fact that I'm constrained to WAV or OGG files?

22khz / 48khz, fpsc doesnt like 44,8 for any reason.

stay with ogg if waves are not needed, way better for your resources.

Thanks man, how does FPSC deal with stereo files and things? I just feel that if I'm going to be making sound files, I'll probably want them to be engrossing. And in what situation would I absolutely need WAV format?

good.^^ stereo works fine, dolby/5.1 doesnt work as intended and is played as stereo (maybe).

when you alter fpsc-sounds from audiobank (like footsteps, hitsounds on characters etc.), you should stay with the original format because you dont know how the soundpath is used in hardcode.
everything you ADD can be anything that works.

Ah, I'm thinking of doing some more cinematic bullet impact sounds, as well as some better gunshots. Cuz every gunshot that I have, modelpack or stock, is either too boomy, or too fuzzy. Also perhaps some music
