I started this pack a while back. I put it aside due to me losing interest and decided to start back on it. Basically, it is a pack that will include a variety of switches. From buttons to Levers to Pull Chains.

Right now the pack contains 25 switches.

These include:
key-card scanner
Elevator Call Switch
Floor Selector for Elevator
Hidden Bust Button
Stalagmite Switch
Generic Lever
Throw Switch
Button on pedestal
Skull Switch
3 torch switches
book switch
3 high poly chain pull
3 low poly chain pull
3 floor pressure sensors
2 sliding pictures
1 player wielded button

The following pic only shows 5 of them

Now as I work on other devious switches from floors to walls. I will try and update the list every weekend.

Also if you would like a specific switch, let me know I will add it to the to-do list.

EDIT 11/1/12 updated the list of switches

Nice stuff man

Could you try doing a pullable chain, like for a sewer door?

Nicely done, Gamer X! Although I would try working on my texture work, texture-wise these are kind of bland, yet the modelling is very, very good, so is the scripting, I suppose, experiencing from your previous models. I believe you have a great future ahead, X!

I do hope seeing a download soon, as I have uses for them already.

I am well aware of the textures. They been collecting dust for a while. Luckily during that time I managed to expand my textures folder that I keep for the models and should be able to give some new texture to them.

Already on the to-do list

might be awhile before that. I figure 20 switches would make for a good release if I decide to go the way of multiple packs.

Overall, I am glad that I am getting some people interested in it.

Yeah, I remember when you started this. It's still a good and useful idea. Glad to see it come back.

Here are the three switches I didn't show last time. Plus, 1 switch I made that I am a bit proud of due to the fact that it has several uses.

The top Switch is the "Plus 1" It is a skull with eyes that are used as buttons. In addition to that you can also have the Jaw open and even make it a puzzle switch, by having the player find the missing Jawbone. And if that wasn't enough, It can be used as a lovely scenery item as well with the addition that you can remove the eyes, Jaw, and any pesky teeth via texture.

The next one down is a Key Card Scanner. It is currently in use in one of the development projects I have. After I get around to it, I will include the entire Key Card system along with it. That is after I change out EAI arms for stock.

And lastly for now, we have elevator controls. These very controls are being used in yet another project of mine. The way I use them is for a closed elevator illusion so I don't have to put a lift system in .

Another Weekend and another couple of switches added in. I give you a lousy torch switch and a book switch.

I will admit that the torch isn't my best work I will be adding a few other torches to the mix give a variety. The book was created earlier on but I brought it back add a few extra bits and animations to make it a switch.

Had few issues the pass 3 weeks since posting the pull chains. Now I have a while to work on this pack assuming the coffee doesn't run out .

I finished off 3 basic but lovely switches. these switches act like pressure plates in being activated with the player stepping on them. The default texture is a basic rusted Iron crafted for the switch.00 the UV map is done in a way to allow you to use any floor texture and be able to blend it into the center of the floor.

another update to this less then dead thread.

After watching Haven (TV show on Syfy channel) last Friday. I was inspired to make a switch which was shown on the show. Basically it was a framed picture, that when pulled down it would open a door (or secret door).

Also included in the pic is the first look at a set of switches that can be held by the player.

I should mention that this pack will be finished up this weekend, most likely Sunday.

If you are wanting anything particular included into this pack, now would be the time to say something, instead of letting me have a discussion in this thread by myself.

This is going to be a great pack. I'm always looking forward to entities that can be used in RPG. This is one of those packs. Thank you, thank you.

THEORY - you know everything but nothing works. PRACTICE - when everything works but don't know why. For me, theory and practice are combined: nothing works and I don't know why.

Thanks for the comments and I apologize for the delay on the release. Some how, I got talked into babysitting my nephews and in turn I couldn't get much stuff done.

Well done on these witches. They will allow us to create some interesting levels.

Thanks
