I released one game via AGK

It was released on iOS (iPhone/iPod only)

My latest project has just been started, very little time to work on it (maybe 1 hour a week tops)

Develop on Mac and Windows, my released AppGameKit product was Tier 2 via Xcode

The single feature(s) I want most would be tier 1 integration of Game Center and affiliated services (In App Purchases and Social Networking). I know that TGC was originally adamant not to add any proprietary services or commands to AppGameKit to ensure that everything remained cross-platform compatible, but a lack of these essential features for iOS development is a product killer IMHO. The same holds true for similar services on Android. Having to spend many hours going through Tier 2 to manually add such functionality is frustrating. I believe TGC recognized this and plans to add such features in a future release.

iap and social networking should be coming in the next version.

i agree, game center support and open feint would be really great!

1 on AppUp, 1 on Blackberry market, several locally (I develop fundraising games for local charities), plus other stuff for the day job

What platform where they released on?
Windows, Windows, iSeries, Solaris and Windows. Oh, and Playbook

If none released what is your preferred target?
preferred target for anything new is cross-platform (networked apps)

What state is your current project at?
(Just started, halfway through, nearly complete, beta testing)

Well I work on commercial and non commercial projects so I'll focus on answering this from a commercial perspective at the moment as I think that's what your asking:

1:How many apps/games have you commercially released?
I've released 3 commercial products and many more non-commercial ones.

2:What platform where they released on?
Palm, Symbian, Tapwave Zodiac

3: What state is your current project at?
My game Pirates Treasure should ship some time this month I will be ready for my next project in the pipeline

4: What OS do you develop on?
Windows 7 64 bit

5: What Single feature do you want most in AppGameKit / FREEDOM engine

For AppGameKit : 3D Support

I dont care about freedom engine at all at this point. I do not see any money in web based games for indie developers (YET) although I think in the 5+ year time frame it may change.

Thanks guys...!

Keep it coming....I think it is interesting to users of AppGameKit just to see that:

The product(s) work and work well.
What kind of volumes people develop at.
What is the most common dev platform.
And of course...what users want.....

When there are (hopefully)a tonne of posts I will collate it all in a pretty table for everyone to see.

Please note..newbies....this includes you even if you have not completed an app...I want to hear from all levels of user please.

Just 1 using AppGameKit, Moon Snaker.

What platform where they released on?
Available on istore and various android sites. I would like other platforms but at present that is not possible.

What state is your current project at?
I have many projects I look at, but my second (or first lol) main project is Obliterator and I am about 80% finished at present.


What OS do you develop on?
Windows 7.

What Single feature do you want most in AppGameKit / FREEDOM engine?
All formats, that are listed as supported, either supported, or dropped ( I think all the formats listed originally are still valid, apart from perhaps Meego. I don't see Meego as a gaming platform really). Perhaps that is not a single feature, but it is all I am bothered with at present.

1 game released in DBP many years ago.

Working on Rush to Adventure in AppGameKit, halfway through. Plan to release it on all supported platforms sooner or later. Currently Windows and Android.

I use Windows 7.

My primary wish is to get all the current commands to work on all platforms and all reported bugs fixed. After that I want commands to be able to post content to Facebook and Twitter. No need for 3D.
