Geek Culture / I seem to be banned from DAYZ servers. What should I do?

Its saying (Battleye: Global Ban #3096). I had installed some modifications to the mod that may have gotten me banned. However, I never used them.

I'm not sure if those modifications have been removed either. I tried to remove them, although I don't know if I was successful.

Anyway, what should I do about this?

Also, I can't get onto the Dayz forums because they won't send me an account conformation email...(unrelated to the ban)

I would say go to the official forums?
and make a clean install

Pretty sure there's nothing you can do until you can access the forums - you could try their Facebook and twitter (if they have twitter) but other than that, i think you're outof luck for now =P

Good question, I didn't check that. I should though when my install get done.

OK, well, I'm apparently not banned anymore. But I lost all my items because I joined a hacked server that killed me right off the spawn. Gee wiz, for Battle net being so "strict" on Hackers they certainly let a lot of crap go...
