I made this program to check screen FPS

https://freedom-engine.com/play.php?id=3115&activate=66d7a2dfc38abafd89388c4330d526e2

In Firefox I get 24 FPS

Like others, I get 20-25 FPS in Firefox and 59 FPS in Chrome (latest version of each). It's a shame how slow Web browsers have evolved for WebGL and that FE depends on it. Normal 2D canvas operations (non-FE) seem to have much better support and compatibility.

So basically, It would be wise to only recommend our programs for chrome at the moment, until other browsers catch up.

FE works fantastic with chrome and is fairly consistent. I was using firefox to start with and was a bit disapointed, Now I am quite impressed.

Thanks for the input guys.

It doesn't always work on Chrome via an external link, I'm afraid.
