There's no need to mask the link here, in fact you can have the video inside a post:

Done by having <youtube>UzkwoMfCCok</youtube> - but with square brackets, just like linking a file or showing an image.

I'll see about putting something like that in and sending it over to Paul to put on the forum.

I have a high res and Hypercam2 has trouble recording my entire screen so I just set it to a small area. If thats what you were reffering too, sorry but I had to use a small area. Hypercam kinda sucks but its free so beats paying like 50 bucks for high end stuff.

@old_School - Are you sure you got your facts right in the video? I'm 5 minutes in and I still don't know what your definition of tilemaps are. Maybe I'll watch the rest in a bit.

I just finished watching the whole video. It progressed really slowly for me, but I'm also not the target audience. This didn't really describe what a tile map is. (If it did, I completely missed it.) I thought this was going to be some type of "how to program" video showing tile maps for 2D games. Needless to say, it was not.

Anyway, I think this is relevant... Here's some stuff I did on tile mapping. It points to another company's website but the main content in the articles presented below aren't specific to said product.

old_School> thats more of a theory video right?
