This isn't the best place to put this, but KF forums aren't very populated. Also, I feel I'll get a better answer here.

Anyway, I can host a server just fine. However, when I join my own server, I frequently crash it in a few minutes.

It gives this error:
Critical: Ran out of virtual memory. To prevent this condition, you must free up more space on your primary hard disk.

Problem is though, that I already have 107 Gbs free.

Try running on lower quality graphics settings and see if that makes a difference. You need quite a lot of memory to run both the server and the client at the same time.

Google brings up some related results on the KF forums.

So, I guess its more RAM that I need. I have 8 Gbs. It usually get filled up to around 5 or 6 while hosting and playing.

I can host KF and play on my machine with absolutely no issues, only 4GB Ram, How much VRAM do you have?
