Yesterday I officially merged with The Dragon Empire. It’s a great merger but now comes the crap part of figuring out who has the most branding power, organizing assets, going over payroll, rearranging employee’s and everything Grrr so much crap to do it’s like a meltdown occurring your brain but you have to keep moving. Not even sure at this point if UOK Software will be a official brand or not at this point.

Merging is great we gain a very successful game with 16k player base but we also inherit debt, more expenses, higher wages and a bunch of stuff I never planned on having for a long time. I think officially were going to have to upgrade to an inc. when it’s all done. Getting to big for me to keep a handle on things. Grrr!

Do you mean this dragon empire? Or are you joining forces with an actual empire of actual dragons, that would be awesome!! They do require payment in gold however so I understand the financial dilemma...

It's good to see that Stick Dancer is finally reeling in the cash it deserves.

Well now were doing a little dance and I'm not enjoying the legal dance. So I'm not sure now if the merger will happen. I hate people when they change crap half way through. We had a verbal agreement we were trying to put in writting and the agreement changed magicaly when it hit paper so its a big mess now.

Not to be a downer, but anyone with any legal sense would not post about a merger that hasn't even happened yet...especially by bad mouthing your partner company.

Ah! I hope you get this all sorted out fine, swell, and dandy in the end. Just keep pushin on through it and I bet whatever the outcome, you'll be happy you went through it all in the end.

That's okay, he's safe here - neither company actually exists.

@ IonStream I don't know to this day where you came from or your undying hate toward certain people but seriously stop. Go compile a helpful suggestion and run it.

Hmm to bad the IRS thinks other wise and demands money every April 14.

Anyway, it’s still being discussed and everything is still on the table but just frustrating. One of the biggest things that sucks is losing the company name but on flip side they could loose there’s as well so it’s a two way street. A lot at stake here and we both want to make the best decision that’s the most profitable and allows both companies to endure. Some of you are laughing but if your company was faced with a major opportunity its no laughing matter. At this point we bring the most to the table. We have more assets then they do but they bring the higher profit margin. We bring more employees/developers and they bring artist/marketing power.

You definitely both bring outdated image formats to the table.

Hi old_School.

Here's some friendly advice for you: please improve the text on your website. It's not constructed very well for a professional business.

Are you founded in the states? If so, which state is your business registered with?

Good luck on your projects and potential merger. Hopefully things work out whichever way is best.

I really have to ask some obvious questions directed toward certain post.

1. How many peices of software have you developed again? Because you seem to troll a lot and I dont see any thing finished by you. Less troll more work

2. Yes I know my grammaer is terriable, I plan on hiring a pro to do the website nextime or hire my friend Amy who has some kind of proff reading company to fix it but we need to save up money first.

3. I dont for see the merger going through at this point. We compared assets and we acually would be lossing more than we would gain. The other company decided they wanted to keep there assets seperate but on the flip side they bring no skills to the table only money but they are not willing to invest in our proejcts. So its really pointless for us to work on there projects and recive basicly nothing in return. The other Partners in UOK Software aslo are not in favor of the merger so even if I wanted it, I would be out voted. So its back to business as usally. I was hoping this would turn into a real oppertunity for us to grow but it was a nightmare waiting to happen.

Because its all about the number?
I could create 100 half arsed crayon drawings, doesn't mean I'm a celebrated artist.

You seem to forget that a lot of us here are very experienced developers.

I dunno, if you class it as modern art you could pretty much get away with anything. Heck just put a stick inside of a lemon and suggest it's a representation of your troubled childhood. Because obviously childhood is a sour taste that sticks with you for a lifetime.

Don't get me started on modern "art".

Also another point. If you can't take the criticism/trolling, you shouldn't be posting on forums, or anywhere for that matter.
It reflects badly on yourself and any company/organisation you may represent.

Can I just say I'd like to congratulate Sep for frequently defusing slightly heated threads with brilliant non-sequiturs like this. Well it made me laugh, anyway

How dare you sir! I work 25 hours a day making my many hundreds of classic titles, including Pet the Cow, Finance Manager 3, and Stick Dancer 2: The Unofficial Fan-sequel.

I can attest to the quality of Stick Dancer 2. It is an incredible music action rhythm FPS RTS TPS twin stick shooter hybrid.

This thread has been locked due to the unmanageable number of crazy and unimaginatively horrible games in this thread, including but not excluding Pet the Cow...owning to the fact I cannot get past level 1...CURSE YOU COW!
