As I have decided to move out of the area of PC gaming, as I have decided I rather money than hardware, I am selling my newly built gaming PC (built only 2 weeks ago).

3770k overclocked to 4.5Ghz
MSI Z77A-GD65 Z77 Motherboard
8GB Corsair Vengence DDR3 RAM
2 x XFX 7970 3GB Overclocked Editions in Crossfire (The third card has already been sold)
120GB OCZ Solid3 SSD
Creative X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Soundcard
850W SilverStone Strider Plus PSU
CoolerMaster Cosmos S Touch sensitive Case

£900 Ono.

It may seem strange that I am selling it after only 2 weeks of owning, but I have just decided that PC gaming is no longer for me, and I rather concentrate on other stuff in my life. This is nearly 2 grands worth of PC here, so please don't about pricing, and feel free to price it up yourself if you wish.

Due to the size of the PC, this would unfortunately have to be a pickup only sale.

Thanks

CPU : INTEL 3770K @ 4.6Ghz| MOBO: Gigabyte SNIPER2|
RAM: 8GB CORSAIR XMS3 | GPU:Asus GTX 690 | 320GB Spinpoint F1 RAID0| PSU:ENERMAX 1.2KW |CASE: Thermaltake Armor Revo

Sadly you'll never find a legit buyer. At that value, you need to guarantee the purchase to the buyer. Most people save up for months for such a purchase (or buy it on credit), and they buy from a legit company.

I can't tell you how much it scared me making a 500usd camera purchase. The only reason I went for it was because of the included, at significant cost, "accidental damage" warranty, and it was through a legit company. Now imagine spending twice that on a computer with no warranty whatsoever (manufacturer warranties require the original receipt, usually), no recourse, no lemon law protection.

Really you shouldn't have bought it if you didn't have the cash. Your best bet is to part it out and sell it all at a small loss on ebay.

Did you keep the warranties (manufacturer warranties) of the components?
If so I'd be willing to purchase it off you, provided I could somehow protect myself in the case of non-delivery (if we could figure out a way to ship it, I'd cover the cost of delivery if we did).

I'm actually in the market for a PC, as mine is about 4 years old now.

I never buy second hand, and I'm pretty cautious when it comes to money too. But seeing as this is only 2 weeks old, I could make the exception with the second hand thing.

So I'd only buy if I could be 100% sure I could return a component myself under warranty and that this is indeed a legit sale.

Also I wouldn't feel 100% right if you desperately needed the money. I think it would probably be best in that case to strip the computer (like Jerico suggested), box up the parts if you've kept the boxes then sell them on eBay.

Otherwise I'll buy new in the new year.

On an offtopic note: whats the point of having your PC specs in your signature?

@Wolf, it's a common practice on many forums, and there are a couple of reasons:
First, would be if you needed help, users helping you would have your specs right there for them to work with to solve the problem instead of having to ask for them.
Second, would be to simply boast how big your computers junk is. Which is completely understandable, If my computers junk was even half the size of his, or had even half the pure, raging power, I would surely tell the world about the what a beast my computers junk is.

By junk I am referring to specs. But you knew that.

Idk what I am saying.

I enjoy food quite a lot.

@GG: You can rest assured that I am indeed back in the land of quality gaming

@Rampage: You forgot to mention the "E-Penis"

Just played a few multiplayer games of BF3 on Ultra Settings with Max AA/AF @ 1920 x 1200 and was getting between 100-140fps....life is good

i fall in rampage's first category. with my very average system, i tend to run code/test projects that i'm interested in and provide feedback on performance.
