Staretd testing my app on my new ultrabook and have noticed framerate issues?

Box 2d dont work well and gives an choppy impression.
The framerate stays around 51 fps constantly also?

Anyone else noticed this that won an ultrabook?

If its a agk issue so cant i enter it to the competition.

Can you check your graphics settings, usually there is an icon in the tray although I don't know how this works in Windows 8, but see if you can find a Vertical Sync option, and if possible set it to "Application Settings" so that the app can decide how t handle the frame rate. Also I've recently fixed a bug that would cause frame rate issues on Windows Vista and above that may solve the problem in the next update

Dont seam to be one in the settings in windows 8.
I belive they have it in the bios as its an built in card?

But as you belive so does it seam to be an sync error with v sync involved.

The bottom sprites on my tile map gets updated with an slight delay.

As soon as you have that beta up so will i try it.

A quick question is that if its simply that iam still using 1076 ?

Maybe 1080 works better?

Edited........
I didt find one in the bios either? (v sync setting)

I found the problem.

Ultrabooks dosent like the default save battery life setting on the syncrate.

Everything works if you set this manually!

By default does agk seam to use SetSyncRate( 60, 0 ) to save battery life

And this gives terrible framerate.

But with SetSyncRate( 60, 1 ) .

So is there constant 60 fps and fluid gameplay.

Only wanted to tell you before fixing a non existing bugg
