Hi to all,
this is our 1st product made with AppGameKit and i wish it will be the 1st of a long series.

This game has been made in T2 using our MAP editor and platform framework. The game has been made in old style including the musics made by the famous Commodore Amiga composer, Ray Norrish.

The game will be released for Mac OSX as soon Apple approve it and later on iOS, Android and Playbook as soon as AppGameKit add the T2 support for it.

The game offer 13 different towers and 100 different levels.

Looks nice

But only some things that feels wrong ?

Why does it feel like i have seen some of the sprites before?
One of them looks like one of the badguys in rayman series or is it final fantasy?
The pickups feels a bit to oversized maybe down size them by 25%.
The grey steel plate tile looks so wrong with the other artwork.

Dont take this wrong as the things i mentioned are 5 % and i like the rest

Do you have an youtube movie of the game in action ?
Because i could be completely wrong when everything is moving .

And yet you managed to completely miss the Zombie Homer Simpson lookalike in the background?

I think Cliffs concerns are right, something feels odd about some of the art work, but otherwise I hope you got some fab sound and audio effects in this it looks "explosive"

Thanks for the comments, i have a video but at the moment it is just private because is not what we really like so we are trying to create a better trailer for it, as soon as i have i will post it here and in all our channels. Playing the game offer for sure a better feedback that just see it in screenshots also because you need to solve each screen creating and removing blocks, searching for hidden objects and save baby Pandas.

The objects could be scaled but we have tried to leave all in the same size to make players see them clear, what i mean is simple in a device like iPod where all is really small where pixels are so tiny a big object can't be miss

The musics are in old style, the audio part has been made by a famous composer on the Amiga scene, he made some very famous songs in that age like "The Killing Game Show" for Psygnosis but also many other.

None of the objects or enemies arrive from other games or are protected from (C) of other companies. If someone think we have copied something please let me know and i will ask to make changes.

The game seem to be funny and we hope it can be a good sale.

The screenshots aren't from the latest version and something, not of the game objects, are a bit different.

Its a huge problem when doing games that many designs have bin used before.

How many ways can you draw an barrel

Looking forward to an video

Looks like a fun game, I also would like to see a video.

I think the only thing that feels off about the graphics is the style seems to change from object to object.

Looks very nice!

I think the zany cross between Panda's and Satan are awesome! Reminds me of the South Park episode where all the little woodlands creatures were actually in league with the devil and convinced the kids to help them before they found out and had to try to fix everything.

Hopefully very fun and funny!

Mind giving a little explanation and how you used a map editor and AppGameKit to make a platformer? :p I've been playing around with it a bit and am looking at maybe trying my hand at it, so any guidance is always a plus!

The game has been submitted to Apple on November 13th and still not in review, i hope they will move soon. I have no previous experience on MacOSX applications but for iOS we always got a review in 7/8 days.

@erebusman: thanks for your comments. Yeah we thought to make something funny and at the same time as old style. The concept is simple and we really hope peoples can like it. All arts are simple because we want to have them as simple as possible.

@PaulTR: we work in T2, our framework is simple and perform collisions without using sprites. We use the old method to check a bit map and see if the position is empty or used. We use AppGameKit to perform the render because the sprite class seem to be very nice and stronger but we can use almost all because our framework can be moved to any kind of SDK.
For this game we have used the free "Tiled" map editor and we wrote our own parser to read the map file and load all necessary things.

We have another game in development and this is a link where to see the 1st video we made, the quality isn't the best but it has been made just for private use.
