When I try to run the Particle Sandbox under Windows 8 I get the following error...

"Smart Packer Pro has stopped working"

Anyone else seeing this? Any ideas? I tried compatibility settings and running as administrator but no luck.

Old windows prg will not work to well with win 8.
I my self are waiting atleast 1-2 years before i start to use it at an daily basis.

Android 2.3 , ZTE Skate , 480x800 , 800 mhz , Samsung Galaxy Y , 240x320 , 832 mhz , Sony ericson arc 480x854 , 1 ghz
Android 4.0 , Dmtech 3g 9738B , 1024x768 , 9.7 inches , 1.2 ghz

This looks like a Smart Packer issue, not an AppGameKit issue. W8 is obviously suspicious about things running in a VM. Fair enough.

While I fully agree that it is a Smart Packer Pro issue, since TGC delivers AppGameKit Particle Sandbox packaged by Smart Packer, it then becomes a TGC issue as well if it doesn't unpack and run. But, I am patient and will wait for TGC to address Windows 8 issues in time (they don't yet say they support Windows 8 anyway - just giving it a try). Just wondering if there was a work-around in the meantime. Otherwise, I'll just continue to use it under Windows 7.

I assume this question is for TGC since they deliver the particle sandbox packed. Or is there a way I can tell from the packed EXE?

I think I used Smart Packer Pro v1.2, that's what the manual says, but there is no "About" button on the menu screen to let me know what version I'm running.
