Cant resist giving some crit on these, folks might think they are only simple grain sacks but they are obviously pro quality, game ready models.

Some would look at these and think no more about it but what I see is a superb texture with hand painted detail in the folds etc.

What most people don't realise is how cleverly optimised these kind of models are, they usually come with one single texture which has all other materials such as grain,beans vegetables etc in the texture map and the model uv's are simply placed accordingly giving you many different variations using one mesh and one texture.
You can see this in action with the same sack containing different contents.

As this is your first post around here I am very curious to know what your modeling background is and which games (if any) you have worked on in the past. You are surely going to be of great benefit and I cant wait to exchange ideas and info with you as a fellow modeler/texture artist.

Great stuff and very generous of you to offer freely your skills to the community

Rolfy... I feel like that's complete sarcasm but Im not sure ...

And Gillman, hope you don't think the community is being rude ir unkind. Were just trying to make sure we AND you dont get into any trouble. As rolfy said, those are some extremely high quality models... Looks like u baked an AO or hand painted it. Either way were just cautious when a newcomer comes along and shows such good work.

I guess what I am trying ti say is that we would really appreciate it if you could show some proof that these models are yours

Cheers,
Anayar

Gillman,

Looks Fantastic. I like your style. great job here man. Keep up the good work man.

And on a side note, He/She may have been working on models for along time, we do not know so no reason to point fingures unless there is real proof or a real reason. How do you know he hasn't been doing this since the day Video games cam to life? - just thought I would add that. Don't point unless you know for sure.

PAIN!

Me = noob

I don't see anyone accusing him/her of anything, if anything I am excited to see such quality work being offered to the community to use in their games.

Is it against the AUP to ask someone what their background in modeling is? If you have reached this quality of work you must have some previous models to show as an example or if your at college surely you got a few other models in your portfolio, particularly as your at this level.

Showing a model in MAX doesn't mean anything to be honest and just a tip for y'all you can expand the window selected using a tab or pressing 'alt+w' you don't have to use the cursor to stretch it out for a larger view
