i recently downloaded a model called 'Tank Stopper'

on this site:

http://www.northernfoxmedia.com/?option=downloads&catid=56&order=0&otype=0&Itemid=0&page=1

i have already put the:

.X in the enitybank
.fpe in the enitybank
.bmp in the enitybank

but i dont know where to put the .dds file

i already tried the texturebank, but the model is still non-textured

Hi XDwannesXD, most entities have thier texture file place in the same folder as the .X and .fpe files. May have to run your cleaner once but it should work.

ncmako is correct.

Download the 'Retro Tank' models from the link below and take a look at the folder structure of the models within it to get a clear idea of where the files go in FPSC for 'most' entity models plus you will have some tanks to stop with the Tank stopper model you mentioned.

NOTE- You can put the textures in the texturebank but you would have to include the address for it in the models FPE file.
Best to just leave the texture file in the same folder as the 'FPE-.x-.BMP'.

NOTE- Don't forget to delete the '.BIN and .DBO' files generated by FPSC before testing the model with any new changes made.

Good luck.

With this particular model, the files all go into the same folder...

Files\entitybank\FOLDER\TANKSTOPPER\

The .fpe file is pointing to the file "derelict_3.png" texture file.

;Visualinfo
textured = Derelict_3.png

If you are moving textures to other folders (such as the texturebank), then you need to correct the path in the .fpe file. The key here is to look at what texture file the model .fpe is pointing to.

There's no problem that can't be solved without applying a little scripting.
