Hi,

I am testing the lights in a simple scene 3d. This is my code.



The problem is that I don't see the light effect... (you can see it the attachment image).

Where is the mistake?

I see one thing straght away

You use an light radius of 50 .

I dont know if its an bug but you nead to make it even larger.

My dungeon demo uses a light with he radius around 3000-5000 and that lights up the walls pretty close.

Then do i wonder if you shouldt create the light before the object ?

The light on command for the object is simply an internal shader.

Android 2.3 , ZTE Skate , 480x800 , 800 mhz , Samsung Galaxy Y , 240x320 , 832 mhz , Sony ericson arc 480x854 , 1 ghz

Hi,

I have corrected the radius (now, it's 5000. I have tested with 3000, 5000, 50000) but I have not gotten anything. I have put the createligthpoint command before and after createobjectsphere command and neither... not working

I have tested with a box, a sphere, cone... and neither. I am going to update my graphic card and I will check the app in android... can you say to me if this simple app (with radius 5000) works in your computer?

Nothing, My graphic card is updated but I don't see the light in my sphere. Nor, in Android.

You have to create an directional light also as they have only written a point light shader where there also is a directional light

Create an directional light also.

Paul wrote that they are still working on the lights.

The radius is way too high for standard 3D engines. Inside a dungeon you should get away with 512. 1024 max. Perhaps there is an issue with brightness. Or like you said a bug.

Hi everyone,

JimHawkins, I was refering to try the same example with an radius of 5000. I am sorry, if I have explained badly (English is not my first language, and I am very clumsy with the languages).

Cliff, I am using agk 108 beta 3. I have tested with directional and point light and... it's perfect. Now, it is working.

Kobaltic, I have tested with a radius of 5000 and the light effect is very little (furthermore, the light is very near the object). I will try others values and will put the commands before and after creating the objects.

The last cuestion: I suppose that the directional light is a cone light. I can control the direcction, but how is the position of the spotlight modified?, I mean, In a 3d designer (blender, 3dmax, cinema4d...), you can put directional light, but you can control the position and direction of this light. I don't find the command for moving the directional light. What command should I use?

JuandeĀ  those lights in the editors is for creating light maps...

You need to create and manipulate lights within AGK...
