What version of v108?

I have a working v1085 MS 2010 template up on the AGK Wiki Template page.

Give that a try, it has all the correct libraries set up in the project.

Also, you need to install DirectX 2010 SDK as discussed on that page.

Seems like you are missing the DirectInput libs, which are part of DX

try installing DX June 2010

If you still have problems, just download the latest 1085 template as instructed by AL

The version I use is v108 BETA5. I didn't use the Template you mentioned.
I'll try and let you know.
Thank you for the tips.

After using the template and installing the DX June 2010 my project is OK
I had some issues though installing the DX but I found the solution following the instructions on this link:

Hi there!

I have the same linker errors (VS2010) only in DEBUG mode.

Does anyone solve this?

Have you checked the list of libraries being used in the link for the Debug build? They should be the same as for the Release build configuraion.

Right click on the project name in the Solution Explorer, open the 'Linker' section and click on 'Input'. The line in 'Additional Dependencies' is the one you want. It is longish, so copy it from both Release and Debug configurations to some editor and compare the two lines.

I am receiving the same thing as Alex_Peres. I have my Additional Lib pointing to
C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\AGK_1088\IDE\platform\windows\Lib\VS2010\Debug

For VS2010 and the same thing with Release.

Funny thing is that Release works and Debug doesn't.

If you installed irect X June 2010 SDK, then is probably because the library list in Debug configuration is not correct.

Copy the information as I described in my 2-Jan-1013 10:45 post above.
