Actually I think we need to build a map loader for Tiled. I like that program quite a bit more.

gsdblack, yes the placement editor is only for Tier 1.

However, there isn't anything that says you cannot convert the part that does the execution within the Tier 1 game into Tier 2 code.

We use Tiled in our project in T2 is perfect, you need only to write your own parser to read the data, i remember there is a thread in the forum where someone wrote a parser to read the tiled xml files.

I think I'm going to go with AL idea. I should be able to easily convert tier1 code to tier2.
