It is possible to read NFC tags data with the NFC commands of AppGameKit ? Or it is only for Device ?

What are NFC tags and what commands are you referring to?

What version of AppGameKit (v1076 is 'official' release and v1088 is latest beta)?

Are you working in Tier 1 or Tier 2?

This command is from v1080, And i working with Tier 1.

GetRawNFCName

SendRawNFCData





Maybe someone have tester these commands with NFC tags ?

Okay, I didn't find the commands in the AppGameKit online help, but did find them in my local copy of v1088 (which is what you should work with, to make sure you have the best version that supports those commands).

I don't know if anyone else has tried these commands (I don't have any devices that support it).

There appears to be a command to get NFC data from another NFC device and another to check to see if there is data waiting.

If the tags (I finally figured out what you meant by 'NFC tag data' from the images) are recognizable by the GetRawNFCCount command, then maybe the GetRawNFCData command will work, assuming the tags send data.

I might guess that the GetRawNFCCount command queries devices, which might trigger the tags to send data automatically.

If you have a device that has NFC capability and some tags to test with, it should be simple to see if it works.

I gonna find someone with device that has NFC capability. And came back with some answer. If someone else here can check it too, maybe ?

All smartphone made from November 2011, have normally NFC capability : (http://www.nfcworld.com/nfc-phones-list/) BUT Iphone not...

I don't have any smart devices in my household at all.

We have iPads and an iPod Touch (my iPhone 'simulator') and several Android tablets. But they don't have NFC capability, which is odd, given that they are all newer than November 2011 (well, maybe not the iPod Touch and iPad 2).

i think these commands work only on Windows, since they were built for the ultrabook.

some android devices have nfc but not sure if the commands work on android

AL, ios devices do not have nfc.

on android nfc exists mostly on high end devices

Only smartphones from November 2011 (not all) have NFC capability. for the table, Nexus 7 have NFC.

Apple don't want NFC for the moment, the chip is "too" expensive, and they want sell the iphone at the same price that others smartphones for a cheaper device.

NFC came, maybe, on the Iphone 5's, in "june" (hope).

That's way I need NFC...

When I broadcast to a v1088 Player on my Nexus 7, it reports no NFC available (and I just made sure that NFC was enabled, having found it in the settings).

So, either it doesn't work properly or won't work in Player/broadcast mode.

And, since I haven't yet gotten Android templates (either tier) working for v1088, I cannot yet test this functionality.

NFC was added for the Ultrabook with WinRT but has yet to be ported to other platforms.
