Hey, Im Ldewitt here with a game i just started, mainly to test out all the techniques i learned in my one year of FPSC, So any feedback on it would be great!

The Story
You just woke up in a mysterious room, in a house that turns out to be a mansion, you have no memory of how you got there, and the last thing you remember was that you were working on a case involving people whom dissappeared, you also remember your trusty LED flashlight that you turn on to escape that complete darkness of the room and you see that the room you are in is really old, grass everywhere, and you deduct that the house must have been abbandoned for at least half a century, you see a calender and notice it has been 30 years since you were last awake, and now, you need to try and find a way out. However, its the middle of the night, so, will you make it out, or will you die of fear?

Oh, and i almost forgot, it will be a Horror game!
And again, feedback welcome, just, no destructive feedback please!

The story looks good

the envirement looks pretty creepy

and of course the fact that it is an abandoned mansion makes it even scarrier!

Good work so far

Really? never saw it so i dont know about it, but lets face it, its a dark mansion, there arent many ways a storyline can split, besides, its a vague story!

Anyhow im done with the first level as a quick update, ive been on christmas vacation so updates have been slow but anyhow feel free to leave feedback on the things ill give you in the coming weeks!

No idea is truly original. You have to think about that. Also, I see you posted AFTER him... so I don't think anything was intentionally ripped-off.

Anyways, best of luck in your project LDewitt!

Thanks ASTEK! And your right, lets face it, Take an mmo like WoW that gets ripped off by all other mmos cause of its sucess, however WoW ripped off general geek culture so, yea, like you said Nothing is TRULY original, Geek culture being like Lord of the rings, Games, Movies And Anything considered "Geeky"

Anyhow in RaVen3R's Defense his original post was WAYYYYY before this one, but i didnt know it existed until now!

So another update: first would anyone mind helping me with the issue of the lighting and the gun being a bit to bright? If so then Thanks!

Second here is the second screenie for the first level:

I am still working on the game as you see, progress is slow but its going forward!

The gun is bright because it is an entity and more precisely, a weapon pick up. These usually glow and yes, I know its annoying but you have to learn to kind of hide these certain aspects. Design an area that covers up the fact it is glowing.

I haven't actually used weapon pickups for a long time so I don't know if there is a way to make it glow less. I know that doesn't help much but hey, at least it is something.
