Hi,

I downloaded and installed the current Android AppGameKit player v108 Beta3. Can I assume that there are still things to finish on the 3D commands. The reason I ask is that when I ran a very simple Tier 1 App that created a 3D Cube textured with a 48x48 PNG texture image, I'm experiencing some display problems on the mobile device.

I'm running the AppGameKit player on an Xperia Play r800i with android version 2.3.4.

When I create the cube, I do not see it on the mobile device except for a white square in the centre of the screen. But I do see the 3D cube when running under Windows. Also, the id value returned by the CreateObjectBox on the mobile is 0, where as Windows returns 10001. Is this due to not being implemented yet on the Android Player?

[EDIT] I commented out the bitmap loading and texture application, and the same problem occurs:

Thanks.

Paul.

MrValentine,

There's already a .NET wrapper for the AppGameKit I believe. Isn't it available under your Product Downloads for AppGameKit?

Yes... but not yet with 3D

And it is pretty much community driven and I am incapable as of yet to undertake the task... otherwise you know what I would be doing right now

APEXnow, what version of the AppGameKit IDE are you using?

If it is v1085, the v1083 Player won't work.

A good v1085 Android Player, courtesy of MikeMax, can be found in this post.

@MrValentine

Ahh I see, I wasn't aware that certain functionality was not available in it yet.

@Ancient Lady

The about box says Build 108, so I may need to update the IDE anyway. I'll take a closer look at the post you've linked to, that's much appreciated.

Paul.

APEXnow, if you are updating versions, it is usually safest to do a complete uninstall first.

The About boxes never give the minor build number and that is the most important part!
