Hi,

I have read the entries in "Building an Android App with App Game Kit" post and I have the following question. Should I try to use the latest versions of the needed tools or should I stick to the ones mentioned in the video?

Is there a disadvantage if I use the suggested versions in the video?

Respectfully,

The ones in the video work. But updates are probably okay.

But it is important, for v1076, that you check the obsolete button and select Android 2.3.1 (API 9) in the "Android SDK manager" from the Eclipse Window sub-menu.

For v1085, you would also want to select Android 3.2 (API 13).

I have been able to use a slightly newer version of the android-ndk than the one they list fairly successfully.

Not necessarily.

As it is now, you might have to do some searching to find a download for the specific Android-SDK they mention.

I most recently was able to build with android-ndk-r8 and android-sdk-r21.
