Hi guys,
I would be greatful if someone will teach me how to turn segment walls into entity walls. I've seen some picture about that and a post about a guy who taught this secret to another man. I have got an idea how could i use this on my game so please, tell me.

PS.: success, mean your name will be added to my credit list.

Isn't this already covered by those false walls in stock scifi and WW2 scenery entity bank folders? You could take the texture from the segment and use it on the entity (which is just a segment sized square).

This link might also be helpful, it was when I needed to take scifi gantry segments and make them entities to get increased power of their positions:http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=199922&b=24

Locate the wall mesh you want to use from the meshbank, (follow the path in the .fps file) Then grab the texture from the texture bank. Then run it through the free program "Entity Workshop", or other entity creation app. That's it.

Just copy an existing FPSC entity 'FPE' file (Static object) and add your details (texture name, model name) to that.

Good Luck.

Yea copy the fpe file but i said i cant find the fpe file that's why i stuck at the 'tutorial'..

Where is it? In the meshbank there are only X files.. fpe files are in the entity bank but there is no fpe about my wall..

my idea: is it possible to make the segment wall into an etity so i can rotate it with the 12345 keys?

Sorry for being noob.

that would be a .fps file in the segment folder. entity workshop will make your .fpe file for you.

Here's a standard floor I made in Milkshape. It's mapped, and includes a blank UV map in .tga format. Change the texture in your graphics app, and put all in the entitybank folder to use.

As I said before, use Entity Workshop to create entities, until you learn how to make, or alter your own .fpe files.
