Well, I recently bought myself an Nvidia GTX 670 FTW, and, I installed it and it said everything was working fine, I installed the latest drivers and everything, but I am getting really bad FPS for battlefield 3, not for other games, I get good, but not as good as it should be, I think something is wrong, maybe a bottlecap, I am not sure. Anyways, I upgraded from an Nvidia GTX 560 ti, to the Nvidia GTX 670 FTW.

Specs
Operating System
MS Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit SP2
CPU
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
Thuban 45nm Technology
RAM
16.0 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 535MHz (7-7-7-20)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A88T-M (AM3)
Graphics
ASUS VH236H (1920x1080@60Hz)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
Hard Drives
488GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKS-65A7B2 ATA Device (SATA)
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH10L ATA Device
Audio
NVIDIA High Definition Audio
Power Supply
Antec25 Earthwatts 650W

I get about, 35-45, sometimes 50, in Battlefield at max, with no motion blur, I even turned of MXAA, and it only raised it by like 2-3 FPS. It was really dissapointing, because, before, I got like 40-?FPS. The ? is just unknown because it varied what I was looking at.

Well, it probably is, but I am getting worse FPS than I was before. I am thinking bottle cap maybe, and I was thinking about getting the ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS Mobo with the Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I72600K. Will this prevent the bottlecap?

I had similar issues with Diablo3 after I updated my drivers. Try Nvidia's beta drivers, that resolved my issue. Sometimes they tweak things or make tiny corrections that don't make it into production drivers right away.

Yeah, that almost definitely sounds like a driver issue. Raise the issue with Nvidia if no-one has already done so and just wait until they release a new set of drivers.

I've noticed that Nvidia has had to fix a lot of games lately that have very low frame rates.

Try this:

I went to go download them myself, and 310.70 seems to be the latest stable version out right now. What driver version do you have installed?

Yeah, I went there, and it said, "Click here to dowload the driver" I did, and it just took me to the auto search for beta drivers on their website, and I put I have a GTX 670 and it does a search, but nothing happens, it doesnt say there are none, or there are, nothing happens, it just goes back to the seach.
