Looks like Intel have got another crazy competition with $20k up for grabs.

This time it's using their Interactive Gesture Camera. They will lend you a camera for 60 days, but you can't keep it like the Ultrabook.

Check out https://perceptualchallenge.Intel.com

Would be difficult to get AppGameKit working with the camera though.

Tier 2, you can use other SDK's as well then.

Sweet! One of the requirements is that you use their SDK anyway, so Tier 2 looks like the only way.

When I first reviewed this competition they were requiring developers to purchase the camera for $200. Nice to know they are now loaning them out.

Cheers Mat, let me know what you find.

I'm wondering whether we can just adapt our Ultrabook entries to take Perception inputs?

Nope, the terms state that the app must not have been made or released for any other competition etc.

I have applied to get my camera.

I have the SDK up and running but without the camera I can't do much Plenty of other things to do in the meantime I suppose, just can't wait to play with the camera

Gah, gutted about not being able to re-enter I'm still deep into my Ultrabook app

So tempted to get a camera anyway just to see what it's like - looks like Intel pay for sending it back so nothing lost from my point really.
