Hi,

i have been playing around with the ad commands and was wondeering if there any way of detecting when a user clicks an ad.

What i want to achieve is to try and encourage user clicking on an advert by offering in game credits, bonuses, extra levels etc?

ive tried different approaches but the ad always takes over and i cant get agk to register a click when it is touched.

Anyone any ideas or has anyone managed it?

Rickynzx

EDIT: Im using Tier 1

to encourage a user to click on adverts is often forbidden by the ads providers (check their rules)... (because the click is not a real interest from the user and it's not relevant for the advertiser).

Take care !

I was right

From adSense (google) (for example) :

Encouraging clicks

Publishers may not ask others to click their ads or use deceptive implementation methods to obtain clicks. This includes, but is not limited to, offering compensation to users for viewing ads or performing searches, promising to raise money for third parties for such behavior or placing images next to individual ads.

And the simple answer is probably 'No'.

The ad sits on top of everything and events related to it (clicking) are handled somewhat separate from the regular ones. At least, that is what I think is going on.
